Learn how to write credible resume accomplishments when you do not have exact metrics or performance numbers.

You can show impact on a resume even when you do not know exact revenue, percentage, or volume figures. Start each bullet with a strong action verb, describe the task or problem, and explain the result in clear language. Use honest evidence such as faster turnaround, fewer errors, smoother handoffs, positive customer feedback, successful launches, or consistent on-time delivery. Add scope when you know it, such as the number of teammates supported, the types of customers served, or the tools used. Do not invent statistics. Instead, write a specific accomplishment that connects your work to a useful outcome. For example, replace “helped with reports” with “prepared weekly reports that gave managers a consistent view of open work and follow-up priorities.”
