Choose a focused skills list that supports the role and gives your experience more context.

The skills section should help a reader understand your toolkit quickly. It should support the evidence in your experience, not compete with it.
Group skills by relevance
Lead with skills that appear in the target role. Include tools, methods, languages, and practical strengths that you can demonstrate.
Remove the filler
Words such as hardworking or team player are more convincing when they appear in an accomplishment. Use the space for specific skills and show the soft skill through your examples.
