How to Create a Portfolio Without Client Work
Use thoughtful practice projects to show how you think, make decisions, and communicate results.

A portfolio does not need to be a list of paid projects. It needs to give a future collaborator evidence of your approach.
Choose a real question
Use a public problem, a fictional brief, or an improvement to something you already know. Explain the constraints and your choices.
Show the process
Include the starting point, key decisions, final result, and what you would improve. Clear reflection can be as valuable as a polished artifact.
