How account sync works
Your resume documents are stored in your authenticated Resume4U account and saved as you type. Browser-based editing and exports keep file processing on your device.
Moving a resume to another device
Sign in to the same Resume4U account on another device to sync your library, or use an export for a portable copy:
- A backup file of your account data, restored from Settings
- A single résumé as a JSON Resume file
- An encrypted share link, locked with a passphrase you choose (AES-256-GCM)

- Yes. PDF, Word and JSON Resume downloads are free; sign in to save and sync your library.
- Where is my résumé saved?
- Your resume document is stored in PostgreSQL and scoped to your authenticated Resume4U account.
- What happens if I clear my browser data?
- Your account resumes remain stored on the server. Browser preferences and tracker data may be cleared.
